About the 2026 FIFA World Cup

For the first time in history, 48 nations will compete in a single World Cup. The 2026 edition spans three host countries: the United States, Mexico and Canada, with matches spread across 16 stadiums from coast to coast, June 11 through July 19.

We’ve put together free HD wallpaper collections for every part of the tournament. All 48 qualified teams have their own album with desktop and phone backgrounds, from defending champions Argentina to debutants like Curaçao and Iraq. You’ll also find wallpapers of the host stadiums, including MetLife Stadium in New York, where the final will be played, and Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, hosting the World Cup for a record third time.

Then there are the players. This will likely be Messi’s last World Cup and Mbappé’s chance at a second title. Lamine Yamal arrives at just 18, already a European champion. Haaland leads Norway in their first World Cup since 1998. Whether you’re looking for a wallpaper of your national team, your favorite player, the stadium you’ll be visiting this summer, or creative fan art, it’s all here, and it’s all free.
